FAQs

Simply bring your Financial Aid Offer Letter to the Career Center near the end of July or later and our staff will determine if you qualify and assist you in finding an appropriate job. (Awards are given for the entire school year and Federal Work-Study funds are usually depleted quickly). This infographic can help.
Yes! If you have applied for Financial Aid, but were denied, you are more than likely not eligible for Federal Work-Study, however you may still benefit from the the job board, resume critiques, mock interviews, and a variety of other individual services that are offered by our department.
Yes, in fact a majority of students working on campus are not involved in the Work-Study programs.
